Since the launch of Bajaj's Pulsar 220F in the year 2009, it took a separate place in many of our hearts and this motorbike boosted the sales of the manufacturer. Till now, this motorbike is in the market and still stands down as a masterpiece from Bajaj. After hooking up with a Austrian manufacturer KTM, Bajaj has rolled out other two beasts named 200NS and RS. To improve the sales of their adventure motorbike 200AS, they have discontinued the NS at 2015. But, the sales was not good as expected so they've discontinued the 200AS also. With a bang, the manufacturer has re-launched the 200NS in the year 2017 and this motorbike with 220F very much helped in improving their sales. Their partner KTM have released motorbikes in 250cc segment so that the Bajaj also stepped into the 250cc segment with their Dominar 250. Bajaj manufacture the KTMs in their plant itself and few days before, a new Bajaj motorbike has been spotted testing with heavy camouflage. There's no doubt that its a Pulsar. At the same time, few days before the spy image of a new naked motorbike from Bajaj have wandered over the internet possibly it could be a next generation of the Pulsar 200NS.
But here, the spied motorbike is a semi faired one so possibly it could be a Pulsar 250F. Current semi faired version of Pulsar contains 180cc and the remarkable 220cc engine in it. Now this brand new Pulsar 250F which has been spotted testing contains 250cc motor likely to be developed with the same engine used in the Dominar 250. But in the spy image, we can able to clearly see the fins in the engine. This concludes that the engine may be air and oil cooled. The rear end slightly looks like a 200NS for me. I don't know how many of you felt that the motorbike looks like a discontinued 200AS. Yeah. For me, it slightly gives the appearance of 200AS. It would be a great move for Bajaj if they re-launch their adventure motorbike. Now let's come to the spy shot. It have slightly raised clip-ons and the foot pegs seemed to be moved to the rear slightly. Rear view mirrors are mounted on the fairing similar to the 220F. Pillion seat looks to be raised than the any other Pulsar sharply. It seems to have a conventional telescopic fork at the front.
It is expected that the new air and oil cooled 250cc motor will produce power around 25ps. Both the wheels are fitted with the disc so that we can expect dual channel ABS as a standard one. The development mule as seen in the image contains a tall wind screen which is very much welcomed and a short exhaust. It is expected to come with a LED projector headlamp. Mainly it is very much expected to have features like Bluetooth connectivity, side stand engine cutoff, turn by turn navigation, revised instrument console because, scooters these days are launched with this features. This faired version of the new Pulsar very much impressed me which makes me to wait eagerly for its launch. There's no doubt that the entry of Bajaj in 250cc segment will make a heavy competition for the other motorbikes like Gixxer, FZ etc..
