As we all know, Honda's BigWing showrooms offers us a premium range of motorbikes. Now, the Japanese manufacturer have inaugurated their third BigWing showroom in Chennai exactly at 372, Anna Salai, Saidapet. The other two showrooms are located in Ambattur and in Adayar.
Before several years, Honda rolled out their new motorbike from the factory named CB300R which is known as the neo cafe racer. But, what Honda had done is selling that bike only through their BigWing showrooms which is not popular all over the country at that time. As a result, the sales was not good as expected and now the manufacturer has started to bring their BigWing showrooms across the country. Recently they've launched several models including CB350 which i loved absolutely. This CB 350 incorporated retro looks with modern features and that became a big leap for the Japanese manufacturer to set new goals. This model became a heavy competition for Royal Enfield's Classic and Meteor models which also contains 350cc motor in it. The only obstacle for Honda to sell their premium motorbikes is their BigWing showrooms. For example, BigWing showroom is only limited across the state where other manufacturer's showrooms is present more in numbers across the city itself. So, the mindset of the people is like, why should i travel such a long distance to get a motorbike and also to service it there'll be a need of travelling a long distance. Instead of that, they'll go for other best choices which is present near them.
So i would say, its a good move for Honda to develop their BigWing showrooms across the country to develop their sales. This showroom sells their premium motorbikes like H'ness CB350, CB350 RS, CBR650R, Fireblade, Africa twin, Goldwing, CB500X which comes under all categories like daily commuter, sports machine, cruiser and adventure range of motorbikes.
