During the company's 10th anniversary live stream, the E scooter which is yet to be launched by the manufacturer has been teased which looks production ready. Hero MotoCorp's chairman and CEO, Mr. Pawan Munjal has just revealed the looks of the first zero emission scooter. In the photo, we can able to notice several things including the telescopic forks, single sided swingarm, diamond cut alloy wheels. It looks like it doesn't come with the hub motor where the rear wheel will be driven with the help of a belt system.
The body work looks minimalistic and for me, the wheelbase of the scooter looks somewhat shorter than any other scooter which might end up in space issues. Here, we have to notice another thing which is a split seat setup probably the battery pack could be present under anyone of the seats. Other elements includes a windscreen, LED headlamp, instrument cluster with mobile connectivity feature etc..
In may 2021, Hero MotoCorp has made a partnership with Gogoro, a Taiwanese company which develops battery swapping and refueling platform for electric scooters, mopeds and motorbikes. It also looks like Hero doesn't share any design and style elements with Gogoro electric scooters. This hookup between the two companies, design and manufactures a electric scooters in our country which is going to be powered by Gogoro network.
Mr. Pawan Munjal also said that their E scooter will be revealed very soon and also said that they're working on the multiple products. It is also said that the company is working on its own non swappable battery technology with fast charging options and other with the swappable option from Gogoro.
