The fairings has been redesigned and revised completely and so the headlamp unit. The manufacturer has made a move jumping from the twin LED setup to the single LED setup which just looks similar to the 200 Duke for me. The Austrian motorbike manufacturer is likely to launch this RC 200 by next month which also makes us wait eagerly for its launch. I don't know how many of you felt that this new headlamp setup with the integrated DRLs in the front facing of the motorbike doesn't look aggressive as the current one which looks like a devil's eye. The stock unit itself gave the motorbike a aggressive look and feel.

The manufacturer also made some changes from its predecessor. To start with, it has got the redesigned front end and fairings. Other than that, the fuel tank now looks beefy which is going to extend the overall range of coverage. The sub-frame is also revised and so the pillion seat. Replacing the 10 spoke unit, the upcoming model is going to come with the 5 spoke unit which makes sporty appeal. Other than that, it looks like the same engine is going to be implemented which is present on the current generation. In my previous post itself, I've mentioned that the engine has been used almost a decade without a major update. Who knows...... Manufacturer may also surprise us by launching the new model by doing some changes on the engine. While the braking and suspension system is never touched, the change is going to be in the instrument cluster. It may look like a TFT display which is used on the 390 Duke. But, probably it could be a LCD unit which is borrowed from the 250 Adventure.

While the current generation costs us about ₹ 2,08,730 ex-showroom Chennai, the upcoming generation is expected to be priced at the range somewhere between ₹ 2,20,000 to ₹ 2,25,000 ex-showroom.
