This Independence day is going to be filled with the launch of electric scooters.

Simple One E-Scooter to be launched by this August 15

Previously, Ola has announced that their first model is going to be revealed by August 15th and now, a Bengaluru based electric vehicle startup known as Simple Energy has announced that their first model known as Simple One will also be launched by this August 15th across 13 states including Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Telangana, Kerala, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh, Delhi, Rajasthan, Goa, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat and Punjab. This electric scooter is to be launched at the event in Bengaluru.

The manufacturer also said that they have planned for scaling up the sales in the future and they plans to invest Rs 350 crores in the next 2 years to expand their network all-over the country. It is expected that this scooter's price lies somewhere between Rs 1.1-1.2 lakhs. We can expect this Simple One is going to build up the heavy competition against other products like Ola's scooters and Ather's scooters.

This scooter claims to have the massive amount of range coverage that is 240 kilometers in the economy mode and a 100kmph of top speed. This is possible by means of the addition of 4.8kWh lithium-ion battery. We can able to get many EVs in our market but still some model offers us the less range. Due to the increase in petrol price day by day, going for EVs may be the right solution to limit the amount of money spent for transportation and to preserve our environment. What the manufacturer claims may excites us in terms of both range and price. But, after its launch only we got to know how their product performs in the real world environment. So, without a doubt, we can say this Independence day is going to be exciting.

Mr. Suhas Rajkumar, founder and CEO of the company said that they've been receiving lot of requests from many cities across our country for the booking process. As the process of responding to their requests, the company is about to execute the phase 1 plan as the pre bookings were about to start from the launch day.
