Finally, Yamaha responded to the Indian fan base by introducing their XSR model.

Underneath is the same LC 4V 155cc motor churning out 18.4PS & 14.2N.m of power and torque. The engine calibration is slightly tweaked for its characteristics.
Yeah. Single piece scrambler styled seat and round shaped head & tail lamp adds essence. Other chassis components are packed inside the familiar deltabox frame . Without R15's fairing, some of the electrical components are barely visible and it is neatly fabricated to merge with the design. Hats off to the design team.
The package is offered with two additional kits such as scrambler and cafe racer. The later is fitted with headlight cowl, lever protectors and rear humped seat. Whereas the scrambler kit includes short wind visor and bar end mirrors.
The unwanted traction control system is carried over here and some other dump electronics. But other than that, its a great motorcycle for those who looking for power packed pocket rocket with neo retro genre.
