One of the leading E-bike manufacturer Revolt Motors and a online pizza delivery platform Domino's pizza has signed an agreement of replacing the existing petrol motorbikes meant for delivery by the Revolt Motor's RV300. In recent years, online food delivery platform has developed much where all of us started to order through that. So that the delivery bikes which created a heavy demand by expecting more mileage oriented motorbikes. Few days before, Bajaj also released a motorbike named CT 110 X which is mainly aimed for delivery business and had a attractive pricing also. It's like, if we see petrol's price per liter today, surely its better to use a cycle for less important works.
So that the Domino's made a good move of jumping to E-bikes for their delivery jobs which incorporates zero emission produced during their delivery process. Revolt is very much happy to make partnership with Domino's which saves money for the company and also which is environment friendly said by the RattanIndia Enterprises business chairman Anjali Rattan
In India, still E-bike segment is in developing stage and this merge between the two companies is expected to create a new impact on peoples to go towards green environment and so the Domino's will buy all the inventory which is required to manufacture the RV300 model. RV300 comes with 15KW hub motor and a 60V battery which is interconnected to gives a range of 180kms in eco mode, 110kms in normal mode and 80kms in sport mode. When the bike is in eco mode, the top speed will be restricted to 25kmph which is very much enough for commuting and delivering inside the city. The battery can be charged from 0-75% in 3 hours and 0-100% in 4.2 hours which is also a advantage and mainly, the range of the motorbike in single charge is the thing to be noted here. Another thing is, Domino's have to develop more charging stations for their delivery motorbikes to avoid any late deliveries.
Revolt Motors will manufacture and modify their existing motorbikes for delivery purposes in which they'll customize and gives motorbike to Jubilant Foodworks which manages the fast delivery of food for Domino's Pizza, Hong's Kitchen, ChefBoss etc... Now, Jubilant Foodworks operates as one of the largest food delivery platform in India. This also denotes the willingness of the company to switch from petrol to E-motorbikes platform.
