Does cc really matters?

Really, this one is going to be a short post. I always had a thought of writing this content and now its about the time. Its everything about the misconceptions people these days have and about the wrong perspective on the motorbikes. First of all, why do we need motorbikes???...To travel from one place to another.. Right? This is the reason why motorcycles are developed for. As technology improved and designs evolved, motorbikes also evolved both in terms of aesthetics and power.

Does cc really matters?

Now what made me to write this post is, the misconception which wanders through the people's mind these days very high which is, higher capacity motorbikes are the best and everything. Another one which bothered me very much is the wrong comparisons. During my school days, I heard some of my bench mates talking about the RC390. We don't know about the engine, we don't know about the specs and we don't know about the technology which is implement on that motorbike. All we just know is, the motorbike has got a aggressive look and notable exhaust sound. What they talk about is, motorbikes from other manufacturers doesn't mean nothing at all compared to the RC. But, its okay as we are in the school days and as we don't know about the motorbikes very deeply. We saw and liked the motorbikes only by its look those days. But, as days passed, internet developed much and everyone got a smartphone. So, I started to research more about the motorbikes and about the engines. Though, I couldn't able to understand the much of it, I continued because I liked it a lot.

The problem begins here. Even though after completing the school days and even the college, the mentality of the most remains as the constant where they still compare the motorbikes in a wrong way. First of all, we have to understand several thing clearly. To differentiate the motorbikes, there's a thing which is termed as a category. For example, we have sports bike, adventure bikes, off-road bikes, commuter bikes etc... We can able to get motorbikes in the market for all the categories. We can't take a track oriented sports machine for off-roading or vice versa. Second thing is about the capacity of the vehicle. The social media platform and some others has planted a thought in our mind like that the higher capacity motorbikes are the only best. Lower capacity motorbikes are just nothing. We can able to see many youngsters jumping for the higher capacity motorbikes these days straightly after learning how to ride a motorbike. Its their personal thing and I'm not mentioning anything about that. What I'm trying to mention about is the wrong thought they have in the mind. Its totally not like that. Its not about the capacity of the engine or about the output power. Its about the art of tuning the engine. Like I said previously, each and every motorbike is made with a purpose and we just can't compare to one another blindly. Before comparing, we have to know something about the segments, categories etc... Before releasing a motorbike, lots of effort, hard work and time has to be put together to design, develop, test and for its launch. We can't say one motorbike is better than the another just by referring its capacity and by how it looks. Surely, we have to change our thought regarding this.....
