New cruiser based motorbike spied... Is it a product of the allies or a BSA???

This morning I just woke up to see this news. Yeah.... A motorbike with a retro look. Just by seeing its crankcase itself, we can able to to say its a motorbike with the retro features. But, its not sure whether its a Jawa or a BSA or a product of the allies that is Bajaj Triumph.

However, the source of the spy shots tells us that it's a single cylinder BSA. But for me, it gives me a slight look of the Bajaj Avenger. The spied motorbike features the retro design elements like round headlamp, tear drop shaped fuel tank, lowered seat height, raised handlebars, round turn indicators and the wired spoke rims. The thing which grabbed my attention is the crankcase of the vehicle. The drive chain is also on the right side. Now a days only, engine and the gearbox comes as a single unit. But, the two will be a separate unit back in those days. The crankcase of this motorbike gave me that feel though it contained all the other retro elements.

Those who regularly follow my posts know that I love the retro motorcycles. This motorbike just pushed me to an excitement. As modern day motorbikes are evolving more both in terms of aesthetics and power, its good to see the manufacturers still making the motorbikes with retro aspects. Whether its going to be a BSA or Jawa or from the allies, it just looks awesome. Another thing which we have to note down is the engine. Parallel twins are used those days which not only gave a notable exhaust sound but a good power output. Only one side of the vehicle is spied clearly and we can also able to see the single sided exhaust pipe. Probably it could be a single cylinder engine. As the header pipe is not clearly seen, we just can't assure that its a single cylinder engine.

According to some sources, there is also a chance that the motorbike will be a BSA. It comes under the premium range of motorcycles and its a UK based company. As the company is very much welcomed in UK, its very much expected to be launched there first followed by the other countries. Now, its unlikely to launch in our country but we can hope for something good to happen..
