I would say this month is already flowing with the launch and reveals of the ADVs. You could have also noticed that if you followed my posts regularly. Now, Triumph has also revealed its new model named Tiger Sport 660. Triumph's Tiger series are meant for off-roading and adventure segment. Now, this revealed motorbike also comes under this category which is a entry level adventure tourer. This motorbike is few inches away from making its global debut where the manufacturer has stated that the final prototype is under testing.

Though we don't have the launch details, we can expect this motorbike to hit the market by early 22. The images of the prototype were also released by the manufacturer at their social media accounts. It is said that the motorbike is concentrated more for the tarmac. Last year, a leaked image represented the naked street fighter Trident 660 having two other iterations that is a adventure bike and a adventure sports tourer. Now, the camouflaged prototype of the adventure sports tourer has been revealed by the manufacturer.
This Tiger Sport seems to have the same 660cc inline 3 cylinder LQ motor from the Trident 660 where it produces 81hp at 10,250rpm and 64Nm of peak torque at 6250rpm. The electronics includes different riding modes and switchable traction control. This motorbike features a semi fairing with taller wind visor. As said this motorbike is concentrated more for the tarmac, it gets a unbelly exhaust treatment. The engine is mated to a 6 speed transmission system and also gets a slip & assist clutch.

Front end of the motorbike gets a USD and twin discs with Nissin calipers where the rear end contributes a monoshock from Showa and a single disc. The headlamp assembly also looks attractive. We can expect the manufacturer to play something by tuning the engine where the output power and torque parameters could differ from the Trident 660. Raised wider handlebar, single piece seat and center set foot pegs all together gives the rider a upright riding position which is much necessary for the long rides. Also we can expect a beefy fuel tank which is much necessary for a tourer based motorbike. As said previously, we can expect the motorbike to hit the dealerships by this year end or by early 22. This motorbike is a perfect competitor for the Versys 650 and the V-Storm 650.
