• Ducati India has announced the launch of SP variant of the Panigale V4 in our country starting from Rs 36.07 lakh ex-showroom. This is the top spec variant and sits above the existing S variant which costs Rs 28.40 lakh.
• This variant comes only in single color scheme that is winter test livery in matt black and brushed aluminum fuel tank. Bright red stripe splits both the color and other design elements stays same as the V4S.
• It gets a carbon front mudguard, carbon fiber winglets, Marchesini forged magnesium wheels, adjustable billet aluminum foot pegs with carbon fiber heel guard and 5" instrument cluster.
• Powering the motorbike is a same 1,103cc 90deg V4, LC, 4V/C, desmo motor producing about 214hp & 124Nm at 13,000 & 9,500rpm respectively. It is paired to a 6 speed transmission system with slipper clutch assist & bi-directional quickshifter.
• Suspension duties are handled by top of the spec Ohlins 43mm USD forks at the front with electronic compression and rebound damping adjustment & Ohlins Smart EC 2.0 event based mode and electronic adjustable monoshock at the rear hooked with single sided aluminum swingarm. It also gets steering damper from Ohlins.
• Braking jobs are handled by twin 330mm disc rotors with radially mounted 4 piston Brembo calipers at the front and 245mm disc with 2 piston caliper at the rear assisted by Bosch cornering ABS function.
• The motorbike rolls with the help of Pirelli Diablo Supercorsa SP rubbers and weighs 173kg dry. It is 1.3kg less than that off the S variant. Other electronic system includes traction control, slide control, wheelie control, engine brake control, power modes and dedicated riding modes.
• As the motorbike is focused mainly for the tracks, it also gets data analyzer with GPS module, carbon clutch cover, machined mirror block plates and license plate removal plug as accessories.
