• Ducati India has announced the launch of a new special edition of its Scrambler Desert Sled motorbike named as Fasthouse which is priced at Rs 10,99,000 ex-showroom India.
• This is a limited edition model in which only 800 units of them were made & sold globally and only limited numbers have made their entry into our country. This limited edition is mainly made to celebrate the hookup between the apparel brand Fasthouse and Scrambler Ducati.
• The frame of the motorbike is now carrying a aluminum plate depicted with a serial number of the bike out of 800 units which is sold globally. The manufacturer claims that the brand new seat along with the anti slip cover provides the rider a comfortable riding position in all situations.
• Mint 400 is one of the annual American desert off-road race. Now, the design elements of the motorbike are inspired from the models which competed on that race. Fuel tank with black & grey livery, red steel trellis frame and Fasthouse logos stays true to the Mint styled racers.
• Other than that, it has headlamp grill, high set front mudguard, skid plate and off-road inspired foot pegs also along with the removable rubber pads. Mechanically, everything stays same which means, it is powered by a 803cc, L-Twin, 2V/C, air cooled, Desmo motor churning out 73hp & 66.2Nm at 8,250 & 5,750rpm respectively.
• The engine is paired to a 6 speed transmission system with slipper clutch assist. Suspension duties are handled by 46mm adjustable USD forks from Kayaba and offset mounted adjustable monoshock which is also from Kayaba hooked to a double sided aluminum swingarm.
• Braking duties by 330mm disc rotor with radially mounted 4 piston caliper at the front and 245mm disc rotor with single piston caliper at the rear assisted by Bosch cornering ABS function. Pirelli Scorpion Rally STR rubbers are mounted on wired spoke rims at both the ends.
• Other than than, it has got a LCD instrument cluster, full LED lightings, under seat storage compartment with charging socket and blacked engine with brushed fins.
