Royal Enfield is cooking the new Scram 411 based on the Himalayan

Day before yesterday, we've seen some spy shots of the new Royal Enfield badged development mules which looked similar to the Himalayan. Several doubts and talks gained momentum on the Internet and now, some details regarding the motorbike has leaked and this new model is expected to be called as Scram 411. Surely we can say this is going to be a scrambler based motorbike as the name tells us and so the motorbike looks like the one.

The photo of the road version of the Himalayan which is likely to be called as Scram 411 has surfed the online recently with its clay model of how the actual motorbike looks like. It is expected to be launched by this year end or in the early 22. This motorbike shares much of its parts with the Himalayan and in the previous spy shots itself, we saw some details. But in the new clay model, more details hopped out and let's check out some of those.

As I said previously, to differentiate this model from the Himalayan, new headlamp cowl is designed and the headlamp unit is fixed on the forks where the turn indicators are present at the top of the headlamp. The handlebar looks slightly raised and the addition of the new tank shrouds gives the motorbike a nice look. But, the fuel tank used here is the same one as the Himalayan. This motorbike is offered with a simple single seat design with no wind visor to give the motorbike a scrambler look.

This new model is equipped with the 19 inch front wheel instead of the 21 inch which is used on the Himalayan and the rear one is expected to have the same one as the Himalayan with multi purpose rubbers. I would say, its good move for the manufacturer to provide spoke rims which maintains and gives the motorbike a perfect scrambler feel. In the new prototype, fork gaiters has been added and the rear end of the motorbike looks different. The rear fender looks different from the Himalayan and so the side panels. The grab rails also looks completely fresh.

It is expected that this new model will borrow the instrument cluster from the Meteor 350. The engine is going to be the same one as the Himalayan and my guess is, there'll be the addition of engine bash plates which will be necessary if the motorbike is to be rolled out for heavy scrambling. This new model may hit the market by this year end or in the early 22.
