Kits
As I said previously, the manufacturer offers us two kits for the motorbike. First one is the Dynamic kit which includes fully adjustable Kayaba front fork, fully adjustable rear monoshock in which the both is adjustable for preload, compression & rebound and the brass coated drive chain for preventing the rust. On the other hand, we have a Race kit which includes race foot rest assembly for leaning more in the corners, knurled foot pegs for improving the grip and the race clip-on focused mainly for the track ergonomics. The handle is now 8deg downward and 5deg inward compared to the one in the stock. The rider's foot pegs are also raised by 30mm which all together improves the lean angle by 4.5deg. But this Race kit only suits for the riders who likes to rip the motorbike off the tracks with full tuck position. Dynamic kit is priced at Rs 12,000 and the Race kit at Rs 5,000.
Other updates
Apart from this, the instrument cluster is also updated in which now we can also store the important documents on the cluster like RC card and license. It also includes the new day trip meter, dynamic rev limit indicator and the over speed indicator. Muffler's geometry is also revised for acquiring more lean angle at the corners. Not only the lean angle but also gives the racier exhaust note. Suspensions can be configured according to our wish that is for track purpose or for commuting or for touring. TVS calls it a wave bite key which is a inbuilt adjuster tool in which we can tune the suspension damping easily. The manufacturer also introduced its new Race Replica Graphic color scheme in which it gets a combo of red, blue and white TVS racing colors. The color of the alloys and the numbers on the visor is customizable as it comes under the BTO system. The Race Replica Graphic costs extra amount Rs 4,500 and Rs 1,500 for the red alloy wheels. All the above mentioned prices are ex-showroom.

Other than that, everything remains same which includes the twin LED headlamp setup. The update graphics looks fresh which also looks cool. The engine also tends to continue the same that is a reverse inclined, single cylinder, LC, 4 valve, SOHC 312.2cc motor which is capable of spitting out 34PS of power at 9,700rpm and 27.3Nm of torque at 7,700rpm synced to a 6 speed transmission system. It also continues the Ride By Wire, race tuned slipper clutch and the riding modes which includes urban, rain, sport and track. In sport and track modes, peak torque is obtained where 25.4bhp and 25Nm of torque is obtained in the first two modes. The motorbike is also offered in 3 color schemes that is red, black and Race Replica color scheme.

Braking components and others retains the same. My opinion is, this new launch of the updated version with customizable option is a good move from the manufacturer and also the kits which is introduced will cater the both who are looking for a sports tourer and who likes to rev it up on the tracks. I wish the manufacturer to design and launch the RR version of the Apache 200. If this happens, surely it'll become one of the best selling motorbike in our country... Just my guess and wish.
