The Austrian manufacturer KTM entered into our country in the year 2012 by hooking up with the Bajaj Auto and launched its first model named 200 Duke. Now, the allies has completed 10 years of partnership in our country. After the launch of the 200 Duke, everyone's attention dragged towards it including me in the year 2014. When I first saw the motorbike, I felt like what is it. It just had a different exhaust note and the body work. Back in those days, only we can able to see few Dukes and RCs wandering the streets. But, once when the sales started to gain momentum, everyone had its attention and now, we can able to see these machines everywhere. Duke 200 till now is one of the best entry level performance oriented motorbike in our country with its street fighter looks and with its raw performance.
Followed by its successive sales, KTM introduced its RC series, basically a faired version of the motorbike which is even more aggressive and also it became a hit. Everyone started to go after it. The manufacturer currently offers us motorbikes ranging from 125cc to 390cc including the naked models, faired models and the adventure models. Last year, Husqvarna, a Swedish brand is also introduced by the manufacturer which includes two models Svartpilen 250 and Vitpilen 250 which is based on the KTM's 250s.
With the help of the experienced riders, KTM also introduced its Pro-Experiences where we can pay some amount of money and participate & experience various trails & tracks. This helps the budding enthusiasts and the riders to get a different perspective on the motorcycling culture. Now, KTM has decides to provide special offers and other things as they've completed a decade successfully in our country.
As two year standard warranty is present already, free three year extended warranty is included and so the Road Side Assistance (RSA) for one year. As said before about the Pro Experiences, 50% discount is also added with it. The mentioned offers are valid up to a limited period of time for both the KTM and Husqvarna models which is booked from 18th August. End date of these offers are not mentioned by the manufacturer and we can expect the manufacturer to inform the same very soon.
As KTM successfully completed a decade, new range of updated RC series is about to make its debut. This new gen models are expected to be launched in the upcoming weeks which includes RC series. It is expected that the flagship model 390RC will be launched first followed by the other models. Few days before, the images of the new iterated models has been leaked in which we can able to witness the design of the motorbike which has undergone major updates. I'll say the manufacturer has made a good move by providing these new offers as they not only going to improve the sales but also by providing a total 5 years warranty on the motorbikes. Also we can expect the manufacturer to bring their big bikes in both the street fighter and the adventure segment very soon.
