To begin with, this CB200X is based on the currently present Hornet 2.0. The newly added semi off-road fairing looks stunning. The headlamp also looks similar to the one which is used on the Hornet 2.0. All the lighting elements features LEDs which includes headlamp, tail lamp and the winkers. In the launch event, it is mentioned that the motorbike have the upswept exhaust for giving the bike a aggressive look and also for off-roading. But, it also looks similar to the one which is present on the Hornet 2.0.

The fairing looks cool which is inspired from the other motorbikes. The taller windscreen and the raised handlebar all together gives the rider a upright riding position which will be much comfortable for daily commuting as we as for the long rides. Center positioned foot pegs also plays a important role here. The USDs tends to continue the same as the Hornet 2.0. The instrument cluster is borrowed from the same as it displays various information like gear position, battery voltage, trip meter etc...

To give the motorbike a ADV feel, knuckle guards were added with a integrated LED turn indicators. Propelling the motorbike is a 184.4cc, air cooled motor which churns out 17.03hp at 8,500 rpm and 16.1Nm of torque at 6,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 5 speed transmission system. Anchoring jobs are done by the Nissin caliper along with the 276mm disc at the front and a 220mm disc at the rear where single channel ABS is offered as a standard one. The rear box section swingarm is hooked up with a monoshock. The manufacturer offers this motorbike in 3 color options that is Pearl Nightstar Black, Matte Selene Silver Metallic and Sports Red.

The engine gets a bash plate which also looks different from the Hornet 2.0. That's all about the motorbike you need to know. But, I expected the motorbike to get a long travel suspension and the improved torque factors for better handling while off-roading. Other things still tends to continue the same as the Hornet 2.0. The manufacturer could have gives us the wired spoke wheels for even better handling instead of a Y shaped alloys. This motorbike now stands down as a perfect competition for its other rivals like Xpulse and the Himalayan. Stay tuned for my walk around & first impressions. As far now, this motorbike is priced at Rs 1,44,500 ex showroom which is Rs 13,318 more than the Hornet 2.0.
