Yamaha MT-15 MotoGP edition launched

In the month of July, MotoGP edition for the model named FZ25 has been launched by Yamaha. Now, the manufacturer released the same also for its another naked street fighter MT-15. This version is officially called as MT-15 Monster Energy Yamaha MotoGP Edition and this edition is Rs 3000 more than the standard variant where the overall price starts from Rs 1,48,000 ex showroom.

Aesthetics
Now, the motorbike gets a overall black treatment including both the rims. Monster Energy's branding is done on the fuel tank and the logo is depicted on the tank shrouds. Manufacturer's genuine motor oil Yamalube stickers are also added on the radiator shrouds. Rear tail panels are added with Eneos stickers. Yamaha's badging on the fuel tank gets a golden finish which also looks stunning.

Mechanical specs
The new edition only offers us cosmetic enhancements where the mechanical specs tends to continue the same. The motorbike is powered by a same 155cc, liquid cooled, 4 valve VVA motor which gives 18.5PS of power at 10,000rpm and 13.9Nm of torque at 8,500rpm. The engine is mated to a 6 speed transmission system with assist & slipper clutch. It also have a side stand engine cut-off feature. Front end have telescopics where the rear is hooked to a monoshock.

Braking duties are handled by a dual piston Bybre caliper along with a 282mm disc at the front and a 220mm disc at the rear. It also gets a single channel ABS as a standard one. This MotoGP edition is added as a third variant where standard color options and Customize Your Warrior option is already present. The bookings were already opened on the company's official website at a token amount of Rs 2000. This motorbike is a heavy competitor for the other rivals like Pulsar, Gixxer and Apache.
