Ultraviolette F77 is slated to be launched in the first half of 2022

A Bengaluru based startup company named Ultraviolette has unveiled the model F77 back in the month of November 2019. As per the company's plan, after launching the e-bike, it is expected that the deliveries will begin from October 2020. But due to the ongoing pandemic situation, everything just faded away resulting in the delay. But this delay due to the pandemic situation helped the manufacturer very much in developing the motorbike both in terms of features and specs.

Now the manufacturer has announced that the launch of F77 model will happen at the month of March 2022. The production of the same will begin at the early 22 and the pre-orders will be taken from this year end. Firstly, 15,000 units were to be sold by the manufacturer for the first year and after developing, the capacity will be increased to 1.2 lakh units yearly. This'll also creates employment opportunities all over the country and the recruited will be trained in EV manufacturing and in assembly line.

Founder & CEO of the company Narayan Subramaniam said that after revealing the motorbike back then in November 2019, they've received much response and they expect the motorbike will meet the demand out there in the market by serving different platforms. The model F77 is been designed and built in our country itself and 90% of the components including the battery packs will be made using the locally available components.

Founder & CTO of the company Niraj Rajmohan has mentioned that their production unit is integrated with smart technologies and also with industry 4.0 solutions. For better efficiency and product output, all process are carried out by data to ensure the continuous process of manufacturing. Now let's see something about the motorbike. It gets a permanent magnet AC motor which spits out 33.5 BHP at 2250rpm and the maximum torque is about 90Nm. All together is capable of propelling the vehicle to a top speed of 147kmph. The motorbike is planned to be launched at three variants as well as with 3 battery packs. The motorbike's base variant is expected to be launched with a price tag of Rs 3 lakhs. Due to the fame II incentives, we can expect a even more lowered price.
