Kawasaki's future plans - It's all about electrification

During the company's recently held business policy briefing, a lot of discussions were held about the electrification. It is mentioned that the manufacturer will launch at least 10 electric vehicles and hybrid vehicles by the year 2025 before going all electric by the year 2035. The brand is focusing also on hydrogen fuel to power the motorbikes and also on other advanced tech stuffs like connected devices, Artificial Intelligence and Radar.

It is also mentioned that they're working hard in this segment and looking forward to introduce models on both hybrid & electric platforms. Recently, we've see something about the patented pictures by Kawasaki which represents the whole hybrid system. Will mention the link at the end of the article. The manufacturer displayed its electric vehicle architecture at 2019 EICMA show. The thing which we have to notice here is, it had 4 gears unlike any other EV in the segment. The idea of electrified Ninja 300 sports bike is wandering for the very long time. The manufacturer aslo teased the product multiple times, showing us the development of electric product which concludes that the launch of the first electric or hybrid product is not very far away.

Firstly, they'll concentrate more on Japan, Europe, USA, Canada and Australia. Currently, Kawasaki sells around 3,80,000 units of motorcycles per year in North America itself which concludes that surely this electric transition will also create demand not only in America but also globally. But, its in the hands of the manufacturer to make available all the models which comes under electric & hybrid platform globally to increase the transition rate and to motivate each & every individual to enter this platform.
