Hero Xtreme 160R Stealth Edition launched

After giving us the glimpse of the motorbike multiple times, Hero MotoCorp has finally announced the launch of Stealth Edition of the brand's 160cc naked model Xtreme 160R. This edition is priced at Rs 1,16,660 ex-showroom Delhi. Currently, the motorbike is offered in 4 variants such as single disc, double disc, 100 million and stealth edition.

What's new?
This edition gets a pure black treatment along with the red rim tape which looks stunning. It also gets some red highlights on the fuel tank, headlamp cowl, and in engine casing with the Hero badging. Fuel tank also gets a 3D treatment along with the stealth badging. All other design elements stays same as the basic model such as integrated pillion grab rail, beefy fuel tank, raised rear end, droid lamp set-up and with its muscular streetfighter stance, it never failed to grab our eye balls. 

Now, the LED digital instrument cluster's brightness can be adjusted for 5 levels and also the gear position indicator is added. Under the handlebar, USB charging socket is also added which is very much welcomed. Other than that, it gets full LED lightings and side stand engine cut-off.

Engine & other hardware components
It tends to continue the same 163cc, air cooled, 2V, OHC motor producing about 15.2PS & 14Nm of peak power & torque at 8,500rpm & 6,500rpm respectively. It is mated to a 5 speed transmission system and all other chassis components are mounted on a tubular diamond frame. 

Anchoring jobs are done by 276mm petal disc at the front and 220mm rotor at the rear assisted by single channel ABS. Suspension duties by 37mm telescopic forks at the front and 7 step adjustable monoshock at the rear. All together weighs the motorbike about 139.5kg.
