New Jawa model spied testing

After Jawa Motorcycle Company re-entered our market in the year 2018, it took the modern retro combo to the whole new level and became one of the best retro offering for the old school heads. Currently, the manufacturer offers three models in our country such as Standard, Forty Two and Perak. Now, another model has been spied testing on Pune which looks like a cruiser type of motorbike and in this article, let's breakdown the spy shots.

New Jawa model spied testing

We got a chance only to witness the rear end but also it feeds us with more details. First thing which I've noticed is the bar end mirrors which remembers me of the Perak bobber. It'll be clear only at the time of the launch that whether it's a Perak based cruiser offering. So, let's jump to other details.

Other retro design elements includes round shaped turn indicators which probably must be halogen units and the LED tail lamp is mounted on the extended rear fender. Clearly we can also able to see a large pillion seat with the footrest. The seat also looks massive and foamy. Rider footrest is placed somewhat at the forward position which also translates to a cruiser model.

Unlike the Perak, twin struts are present at the rear with the extended exhaust pipe. But, it's not clear that whether the exhaust pipe is present on both the sides. Other than that, everything is blacked out including the rims and exhaust. Vintage type teardrop shaped fuel tank with a raised handle set-up is present which gives the rider a relaxed ergonomics along with the forward positioned footpegs.

We can expect a updated single round dial for instrument cluster and a 334cc engine which is likely to be borrowed from the Perak. Disc set-up at the rear makes us believe that the motorbike will be available with dual channel ABS as standard. We can expect the manufacturer to expand the lineups with the launch of this new cruiser by this year end or by the first half of 2022.
