It do look like a perfect adventure tourer in all aspects. Some of the components including the frame is borrowed from the Africa Twin. The motorbike is equipped with greater aerodynamic profile and a large wind visor at the front helping very much in controlling the wind blast which is much necessary for a tourer model and also it is 5 step adjustable.

17" wheels are present at both the ends instead of 21" & 18" at the Africa Twin and the suspension setup is aslo now more road focused. 43mm USD forks with preload adjustable comes at the front where the rear end has got a monoshock with remote preload adjuster. Both the units are from Showa and have a 150mm of travel. The thing we have to notice here is the rake angle. From 27.5deg on the Africa Twin, it is reduced by 1deg that is 26.5deg which absolutely results in the reduction of trial length from 113mm to 108mm. This helps much in improving the handling dynamics along with the help of road biased tyres, sportier suspension and lower CG.

It is paired to a 6 speed transmission system where quickshifter comes as an accessory. DCT expands as Dual Clutch Transmission system. The manufacturer describe the system as a computerized electro hydraulic control system to switch the gears of a conventional transmission system. Unlike normal multiplate clutch, this system has two clutch packs, one for odd gears and the other one for even gears.
