Exactly 10 days before, Rajiv Bajaj have mentioned that the most powerful Pulsar is yet to release and will be launched in the 20th anniversary of the Pulsar brand which is about to happen in the month of November. Now, two models which is expected to be called as the new Pulsar 250F and 250NS is captured in the form of video footages while testing.
Semi faired 250
The first thing which grabbed my attention very much is the tail lamp of the motorbike. Though the Pulsar brand is evolving, the manufacturer still manages to give us the rear tail lamp which looks similar to the traditional Pulsar tail lamp. Only oldies know the value of that design. In this video, new details are emerged as the motorbike is captured perfectly. As we all know, single projector setup with the sharp integrated DRLs has been integrated in the front end. But, previously I've mentioned that It'll be good if the design of the wind visor is changed. But, it still tends to continue the same. Every spied motorbikes will look production ready. But at the time of the launch only we know that whether the tested one is a prototype or the one which came out of the assembly line.

The major drawback in the Pulsar 220F is the rear view mirrors. According to the owners, the viewing angle or the range of visibility will be poor. Even one of my friend who owns the 2014 model stated the same. That's why you can see most of the 220F's rear view mirrors will be folded or replaced with a aftermarket one. But here in the case of the new 250F, the rear view mirrors looks wider and also mounted on the fairings. We can expect the manufacturer to rectify these problem to provide us the good visibility of what's behind us.
Another thing which impressed me is the design of the vehicle from the sideways. It remembers me of the another motorbike named Pulsar 200AS. AS200 is one of the best motorbike offered by the manufacturer few years back which remembers me the good old days. Even though the motorbike is not well optimized for off-roading, it is one of the motorbike which is very much comfortable for long rides and also its easy to handle inside the cities. But, the sales were not good as the other Pulsar models and that's the reason for the manufacturer to discontinue that model. The motorbike remembers me of the AS200 as the semi fairings also looks somewhat similar. But the probability for it could be a AS250 is very much low. As everyone exaggerates, it could be the new 250F. To make the motorbike affordable, air with oil cooling system is implemented which is also a advantage who starves for long rides. The motor is likely to get a VVT mechanism for optimizing the valve timing to provide even power output across all RPM bands. The beefy look and the short exhaust gives the motorbike a different and attractive look which surely going to grab our attention very much at the time of the launch. The implementation of the VVT mechanism is going to improve the overall value of the motorbike.

Naked 250
The first thing which we have to notice is, this motorbike is easily cruising over 120kmph without much struggle. I own a 2017 non ABS 200NS. I clocked a top speed over 140kmph and I cruised at the range 100-120kmph without much struggle. But after few years, the machine struggles to build up the speed. But this new motorbike is cruising easily at the above mentioned speed without any struggle. This could be possible by means of the new refined engine. The exhaust of the motorbike looks different from the previously tested mules.

In design wise, the read end of the motorbike looks same as the spotted 250F including the tail lamp assembly. The fuel tank looks more beefy compared to the present 200NS and also the tank shrouds which extends all the way down. I think, the exhaust used in both the models differs from one another. The engine cowl looks similar in both the models and so the engine. If Bajaj has developed a new engine platform, surely they wouldn't stop by launching only these two models. I heard the RS250 is also a part of the plan. As said previously, it'll be very much good if the brand re-launches the AS in the form of 250AS which is slightly concentrated for both on-road and off-road. As ADV segment is blooming up more and more in our country, this new launch will attract more customers and will not end up in the sales like AS160 & 200.
It is expected to share the braking components with the Dominar 250 and the swingarm from the 200NS. Mudguard and saree guard also looks like the same. Naked 250's instrument cluster is exposed and gives us the look of the street fighter. But it looks like a fully digital instrument cluster just like the Dominar. But in point of view, the same analog & digital instrument cluster itself looks pretty and capable of displaying the information which is much necessary and the Pulsars are meant for this type of instrument cluster. Anyways.... If the brand is going to provide the new digital instrument cluster, surely it'll incorporates the connectivity features as everyone expects. Thanks for the respective YouTube channel for posting these videos giving us the glimpse of the upcoming motorbikes.
