This upcoming festive season is going to be filled with the launch of new products ranging from 160 - 250cc.
Few days before, Hero's Xpulse 200 with a 4V badging was spotted testing in a highway with pillion. Again, the motorbike was spotted at an event along with a naked street fighter Xtreme. Both the models looks production ready and seems to posses new color schemes. We can also expect the manufacturer to launch the same very soon at the forthcoming weeks.
Xpulse 200 4V
In the previous test mule, dual tone color scheme of blue & black were painted and now in the new spied images, white color along with the blue graphics is present which also looks cool. This concludes that the manufacturer is about to provide us with a lot of new color options. My guess is like there are also chances of providing a customizable option just like Yamaha's Choose Your Warrior scheme. Front fender, knuckle guards, fuel tank, side fenders along with the rear quarter panels has painted white in color. The exhaust tip is now heat shielded and the head assembly along with the crankcase is not full black in color like the ongoing version.
Most important update is the inclusion of 4 valve mechanism. Ongoing version produces about 17.8bhp and 16.45Nm and with the new changes in the valve assembly, surely we can expect a hike in power & torque delivery also along with the price. Who knows.... Manufacturer may also surprise us by implementing something newly like VVA or VVT. Just a guess... Additional valves allows the engine to breathe more thereby making it comfortable across the all RPM bands to allow it to cruise on higher speeds without much struggle. Other than that, everything tends to continue the same as the ongoing model both in terms of hardware & mechanical.
Xtreme 160R Stealth edition
Update : Firstly, it is believed that the spotted motorbike is Xtreme 200R 4V. But, it is a stealth variant of the existing Xtreme 160R.
Here, the paint scheme has been blacked out along with the grey shade which remembers the 200NS. It'll be powered by the same 163cc motor churning out 15bhp & 14Nm of torque which is paired to a 5 speed transmission system. But its not sure that his updated Xtreme will also receive a 4 valve setup just like the Xpulse. Other than that, everything tends to continue the same including the telescopic forks & monoshock at the front & rear, full LED lightings, fully digital instrument cluster and also we could expect a bluetooth connectivity feature.
