Ducati's new Scrambler line-ups introduced

In the Ducati World Première 2022 episode 2, Ducati introduced not one but two Scrambler models which made me nostalgic. It is none other than the Scrambler 1100 Tribute PRO and Scrambler Urban Motard. I always love the vintage Ducati models especially from the 70s and 80s and Ducati had done something great by giving a perfect tribute to the vintage Scrambler model.

Scrambler 1100 Tribute PRO
It is the fourth addition to the 1100 PRO line-up and also it pays a perfect tribute to the manufacturer's first air cooled twin cylinder motor which is first introduced in the year 1971 and to celebrate this, manufacturer has gave this tribute.

The motorbike is offered in single color scheme that is Giallo Ocra (yellow black livery), a color which is used on the twin cylinder 450 Desmo Mono and 750 Sport of 1972. All the design elements of the motorbike is inspired from the 70s including the color scheme and others such as headlamp, rear view mirrors, fuel tank, seat, wheels etc..

Fuel tank also incorporates the vintage Ducati logo which is used in the 70s, designed by Giugiaro. Blacked wired spoke rims, upswept twin exhaust, raised handle set-up, tyre hugger mounted with number plate completes the Scrambler look. Headlamp also gets a X treatment which remembers the bikers from 60s & 70s.

Stuffed inside the tubular steel trellis frame is the 1,079cc, L-Twin, air cooled, 2V/C, Desmo motor churning out 86hp & 88Nm of peak torque at 7,500rpm & 4,750rpm respectively. It is paired to a 6 speed transmission system with slipper clutch assist. It may rolls as a motorbike for vintage and modern retro lovers. But it contains a whole lot of modern stuffs underneath it such as ride by wire, full LED lightings, traction control, cornering ABS and 3 riding modes.

Fuel tank capacity is 15L. Seat height comes with 810mm and all together weighs the motorbike about 194kg. Mounted above the handlebar is the single digital dial showing various required info.

Scrambler Urban Motard
Hopping out from the 70s, Ducati has also introduced the new Scrambler Urban Motard which is a road focused machine joining the Scrambler 800 family. Some of the design elements stays same as the other models in the line-up such as fuel tank, seat, headlamp etc... Flat seat along with the low handlebar comforts both the passenger and rider.
