After introducing the Xpulse 200 4V in our country, the company has now officially launched the Pleasure Plus XTec in our country starting from Rs 69,500 ex-showroom Delhi which is Rs 3,000 more than that of the top spec model until now that is platinum trim.
New updates
As first in the segment, it gets a LED projector setup in which it is mentioned that the illumination is developed by 25%. In addition to that, it also gets a semi digital console with connectivity feature. After connecting it with the smartphone, we can able to get various info such as call alerts, message alerts, missed call alerts and phone battery status. Like all other models in the segment, it also gets a side stand engine cut-off feature.
The scooter is nourished with chrome treatment in rear view mirrors, muffler protector, seat backrest, headlamp cowl and in body works. It looks similar to that of the existing platinum variant along with the pillion backrest. Like the ongoing model, it also gets a front utility box with a USB charging socket.
For more durability, front fender is now made in metal. It gets a new Jubilant yellow color option which is exclusive to this variant and also gets other color schemes like the ongoing variant. No change in dimensions as the scooter weighs about 106kg and the fuel tank capacity comes about 4.8L.
Powertrain & hardware
No changes were done to the engine it seems. It tends to continue the same 110.9cc, air cooled, OHC motor churning out 8hp and 8.7Nm of torque at 7,000 & 5,500rpm respectively. It also gets Hero's i3S feature for saving fuel. Braking duties are handled by linkage type spring loaded hydraulic damper & single strut at the front & rear respectively and braking duties are handled by 130mm drum setup at both the ends assisted by CBS.
