Upcoming Royal Enfield Scram 411 - New detailed spy shots

• This time, the motorbike is spied without any major camouflage and also looks production ready. To begin with, it is iterated from the existing Himalayan where the only difference is the absence of adventure styled fairing.

• This could become one of the list members for those who looking for a tourer motorcycle. Headlamp cowl, new tank shrouds and redesigned side panel differs this model from the existing Himalayan.

• Instead of 21" wired spoke rim at the front, this variant gets a 19" smaller unit which concludes that we can't able to enjoy this machine off the tarmac like the Himalayan. Rear luggage rack has been replaced with a help of single piece grab rail which also looks simple and cool.

• Raised tail, split seat set-up, upswept exhaust assembly and lightings have been carried over from the Himalayan where the rear fender looks altered. For me, some differences can be seen in the handle set-up too.

• What we can able to witness is the overall look of the vehicle. But, we're not sure about the hardware components utilized and about the power source. Due to the altered wheel size, I think there'll be some minor changes in the suspension travel and in the rake angle which could differ the overall handling of the vehicle.

• Coming to the powertrain, the engine could be retuned for handling and to maneuver the motorbike easily inside the city. Himalayan uses a 411cc, air + oil cooled, SOHC motor producing 24.3bhp & 32Nm at 6,500 & 4,500rpm respectively. It is paired to a 5 speed gearbox and the powertrain is stuffed inside a half duplex split cradle frame.

• Braking components also could be borrowed from the Himalayan where the rear wheel's ABS function can be deactivated. About the suspension, travel length could be differed like I said previously. Other than that, instrument cluster and fuel tank will be carried over from the Himalayan.

• It is mentioned regarding the Himalayan 650 that it'll incorporate a electronic ride by wire system, traction control system and different riding modes. To develop this system successfully, there are chances for the manufacturer to implement any one of the above mentioned feature in this upcoming road oriented bike.
