Ducati is cooking the all new Streetfighter V2 which is about to dominate the tarmac
Few months before, Ducati has managed to launch the Streetfighter V4 along with the S variant in our country. Several talks were much widespread over the Internet after the launch that the Streetfighter variant of the V2 is also under the development. Desire towards the naked motorbikes by Ducati fans is fulfilled by the launch of the Streetfighter V4. To make it even more affordable, the manufacturer is working on the Streetfighter V2 as the motorbike is spotted testing. Along with it, Pikes Peak variant of the Multistrada V4 is also spotted.
Though the image of the spied motorbike is not clear & exposing much details, we can able to see the front end of the motorbike slightly which looks similar to that of the V4. After renewing the faired monster Panigale V4, it seems like the manufacturer is working on the iterated form of the Streetfighter V4 and we can expect the same to be revealed at EICMA 2021 which is about to happen at Milan in November 2021.
Now let's see something about the motorbike's power source which we expect to be borrowed from the Panigale V2. It is a 955cc, Superquadro, L twin, LC, Desmodromic motor, capable of putting out 155hp & 104Nm at 10,750 & 9,000rpm respectively. It is aided by the full ride by wire system and also twin injectors per cylinder. The engine is paired to a 6 speed transmission system along the bi-directional quickshifter.
Suspension duties are handled by a fully adjustable Showa & Sachs units at the front & rear. Front & rear brake includes a double & single disc clamped by the Brembo calipers. Other than that, it is nourished with different riding modes, cornering ABS, traction control, wheelie control and much more. All these features will also be borrowed for the Streetfighter V2. I think the design elements will be borrowed form its big brother including the muscular fuel tank, twin headlamp setup, alloys, rear end etc... Naked streetfighters are meant for attention seekers as it steals many of our hearts. After making its global debut, we can expect this machine in our country but I don't know what Ducati plans for us.
