Updated TVS iQube is about to make its presence very soon

We can able to see many EV startups these days where recently a e-scooter gained much attention and created more hype even before its launch. But, this EV segment started to hit the market very hard, beginning from the launch of e-scooters from the most iconic manufacturers that is TVS & Bajaj. Few years back, these scooters were launched and the sales were also in decent numbers till now. It is mentioned that the manufacturer is investing about Rs 1,000 crore in this platform for the green future and also they're about to introduce more electric products both in 2 wheeler and 3 wheeler space.

Updated TVS iQube is about to make its presence very soon

Speaking about this, Sudarshan Venu, Joint Managing Director of TVS Motor Company has mentioned that the team of 500 engineers were working on the new electric products and when he is asked about the company's future plan, he told that the upcoming years will be launched with a products ranging from 5 - 25kW including both the two & three wheelers (passenger & cargo). We'll also announce the launch of updated iQube which is the manufacturer's existing electric scooter offering a range of coverage about 75km per single charge where the peak power comes about 4.4kW.

But, it seems like the scooter is only offered in limited cities and to increase the transition rate, the scooter should be open to all cities. Coming to the iQube, we can expect some hike in range of coverage with the help of improved battery pack and refined motor. Due to this, there are also chances for different parameters like top speed and max power output to vary.

He also mentioned that the scooter is about to make its presence in another 20 countries where currently it is only sold in 4 cities. In addition to that, e-products from them will also be exported to other countries and the transition rate depends on the implementation of tech in products, subsidies and the development of more charging infrastructures which gets rid of the only problem that is range anxiety. About charging stations, they'll invest more for it and also partnering with other charging solutions company for improving the fast charging method for customer's convenience.
