• Day before yesterday we've seen some close and clear spy shots of the upcoming adventure type motorcycle from the Yezdi brand. Now, the same motorcycle is spotted at the dealership without any major camouflage and looks production ready.
• Apart from that, Jawa Motorcycles have revealed the official social media handlings of the Yezdi brand. After reviving the Jawa brand in the year 2018, Classic Legends are about to re-introduce the Yezdi and BSA brands. But, BSA brand isn't confirmed for our country as it plans to sell only in UK.
• By looking all together, it is expected that the motorbike will be unveiled within this month and hit the dealerships by the first half of 2022. This ADV is not only the motorcycle where another scrambler styled product is also alongside the ADV. The company has trademarked a name Road king and it is likely to be called as the same. But, its too early to speculate anything.
• Now let's see about the spotted model at the dealership. The motorbike is painted in white color along with the black and blue stripes on the fuel tank. Old school styled fuel cap is present with chrome finish and Yezdi logo is depicted on the fuel tank with a tagline "LEGENDARY YEZDI".
• Coming to the contrast, blacked engine perfectly matches the white fuel tank and by seeing a liquid cooled engine, we can expect the same motor from the Perak as the models are manufactured under the same roof. It is a 334cc unit producing 30bhp. To crisp the torque at lower RPM bands, ECU could get new maps.
• Wheels are wired spoke units and wrapped with multipurpose rubbers. Suspension duties are handled by conventional telescopic forks & monoshock and braking duties by discs at both the ends respectively.
• The spied model gets racks at the front & back and the handle set-up is raised. Raised wind visor looks purposeful in reducing the amount of windblast faced by the rider. But, the model spotted at the dealership doesn't get any front rack which makes us believe that all those will be added as an extra accessory.
• In our country we too have some entry level adventure motorcycles such as Xpulse 200 4V, Himalayan and 250 & 390 Adventure. Now this upcoming model will fill the space in between the Xpulse and the Himalayan and I think it'll attract more customers only if it is priced aggressively.
Look who’s back?
